Bio

Francesco M. Sunseri is an Ultrarunner based in the San Bernardino Mountains of Southern California. As a father of 2 kids and 1 Doggo, he is always on the go and has the energy to match the crazy schedule demands of Fatherhood and Athletics.

Whether it is long climbs to a summit or speedy descents down technical single track, Franc reignited his passion for the Mountains with running at the age of 29 and never looked back.

Franc lives an active lifestyle with an emphasis on Sobriety and Mental Health awareness. As a recovering addict, he is passionate about helping others find positive coping tools for those that struggle.

Running is a huge part of Franc’s life because when he entered the Ultrarunning community, he was embraced with open arms. As a misfit and one who struggled to find a home, the community provided that longing need.

As the Founder and President of Team God Mode, Franc’s goal is too give back to the community that breathed life into him at his lowest moment. In sharing his story and experience, he hopes to provide a platform for all runners to share their inspiring stories with the world.

Bio

Holly Ryerson is a mountain ultra runner based of out Donner Summit in the Tahoe National Forest. She lives on the western slope of the Sierra Crest with her husband, two kids and dog. A former competitive soccer player and snowboarder, Holly now finds joy running the beautiful mountains in Tahoe.

She loves technical downhills, cruel ascents, game trails, scrambling up rocks and long days on her feet. She drools over maps, creating her own routes and navigating old, forgotten trails in the northern Sierra. She most recently set an FKT on the CA PCT – Section L – from Donner Summit to Sierra City, CA.

Holly will send it on any surface, any distance, and everyone is always welcome. She believes sport brings people together like nothing else.

Her goal for Team God Mode is to help others gain the confidence to go for it.

Aaron Tucker

Athlete, Badass

Bio

Aaron “Tuck-Daddy” Tucker is a mountain enthusiast based of out beautiful Klamath Falls, Oregon. Aaron runs for his mental wellbeing and away from old habits. As a recovering addict, he found a home in the running community and a way to exercise his inner demons out on the trail.

Aaron is the only guy we know who will eat a Large Lil’ Caesars pizza (extra sausage) as his pre-race meal and podium. Can you say, savage?! He swears he has only pooped his pants twice on trail due to this meal choice, but we think he is being conservative here. Either way, you don’t mess with a winning formula.

Tuck spent his early life life serving his country in the armed forces. His service in the military came in handy when he was once stranded in the mountains at night during an FKT attempt, woefully prepared, wet shoes, a dead phone, in the dark and off trail. But he is a warrior, so he hunkered down, built a make-shift shelter, and froze his ass off all night. Channeling his inner John Muir, he wiggled his toes each time he woke up and continued until he passed out again. He is the toughest MFer we know and proud to have him as a part of Team God Mode.

Aaron is a dedicated father and husband who always puts his family first, even if it means his needs take a back seat. He sees himself running for as long as his body allows and will always call the mountains his home.
